
2025 SAN RAFAEL LITTLE LEAGUE RULES – TEE BALL
1. ELIGIBILITY: Players must be at a minimum of 5 or 6 years old little league age.
2. INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE: This is an instructional league, no final score, no winners/losers.
3. FIELD SETUP: It is the home team’s responsibility to set up the field to start the day. Home team of the last game should put all equipment away in the shed.
4. CATCHER: No catcher allowed.
5. PLAYERS: Teams can play with as few as 5 players to start AND finish. It is OK to borrow players from the other team.
6. DEFENSIVE POSITIONS: All the players are in the field defensively. Players will rotate positions each inning.
7. GAME DURATION: Games are up to four innings long and/or 1 hour time limit.
8. COACHES IN FIELD: The defensive coach(s) are allowed on the field.
9. BATS: Players must use USA labeled bats.
10. BALL IN PLAY: No extra bases, players will go station to station except for the last player in every inning can round the bases (hit a home run)
11. END OF INNING: The side is retired when everyone on the team has batted. The side is NOT out after 3 outs.
12. NO OUTS: Runners may stay on the base even if they are declared out.
13. PLAYOFFS: There are no playoffs.
14. BAT SAFETY:here is no batting practice on the day of the game by any team at its scheduled game site prior to or during the game.
Batting practice defined: Any player swinging a bat at a ball of any type or description or swinging a bat stick. This also includes - but not limited to - Soft Toss and/or Pepper.

GAME SITE DEFINED: Any area adjacent to or within view of the game field. This is a District 3 rule and thus also a local San Rafael rule.
